High Precision Alignment Controller
The FV-aligner is the high performance and high
precision image processing system for workpiece
alignment. Using image information, the
FV-aligner series performs XYθ correction to put
a workpiece in reference position using a
three-axis table or a four-axis table. The
system is especially suitable for alignment of
panel workpieces. The FV-aligner series can
dramatically reduce the cost and time necessary
to launch system operations. Its image
processing system automatically recalibrates for
camera angle / position changes or any table
modifications.
Automatic Coordinate Transformation
The automatic calibration function takes mutual
correction factors of camera and table and
coordinates them automatically. Therefore, there
is no need to find the XY coordinates when
setting up cameras or calculating a coordinate’s
transformation value from a camera to a table.
In the case of moving a camera’s position when
changing workpieces or maintenance, it is also
easy to restore the original alignment accuracy
to perform automatic capitulation.

STEP1. Register of Target Position
Register the target marks for each camera on the
workpiece.
STEP2. Perform Alignment Acquire position information of alignment
marks with image processing technology such as
the advanced search function.
STEP3. Position the workpiece to
calculate the XYθ correction value of the
workpiece on the table
Calculate the XYθ correction value of the
workpiece and transmit the distance to the table
according to the correction value.
