We are delighted to have this interview with BERNAMA, which provides Bossmen the opportunity to showcase our expertise in professional climate monitoring and control solution within the semiconductor manufacturing process. For over 30 years, Bossmen's products have continuously aimed to optimize various materials, components, and testing intermediates throughout the semiconductor process cycle. Today, Bossmen is leading a revolution in semiconductor environmental management.
We are optimistic about the tremendous potential of Malaysia. Companies such as ASE (Taiwan), Intel (U.S.), Micron (U.S.), and Bosch (Germany) have already taken action to boost investment in OSAT (Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly & Test) by over 41.5 billion Ringgit. The X-Fab foundry in Sarawak is increasing its 8” SiC wafer production capacity from 3,000 to 12,000 units per month, the target is set to be achieved by the end of 2024. Concurrently, the demand for advanced storage solution is expecting to be increased significantly.
The yield rate of semiconductor processes relies on precise quality control over various production details. Over the years, the Bossmen team has provided many advanced solutions that have significantly enhanced the yield rates for major semiconductor manufacturers worldwide. Start from front end to back end, including raw wafer, nanoscale photomask, wafer for testing, probecard & IC storage, we offer effective equipment for energy saving and cost reduction.
The 'Nanoscale Photomask Storage Cabinet' is a highlight of Bossmen at SEMICON SEA 2024. Photomasks are essential to the lithography process, as they enable the precise transfer of patterns onto wafers. When exposed to ultraviolet (UV) or extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light from a lithography machine, the patterns on the photomasks are projected onto raw wafers. The more powerful the chip, the more precise the photomask and the cleaner the storage environment must be (3nm process is the most advanced technology used by TSMC since 2022). The Bossmen 'Nanoscale Photomask Storage Cabinet' has been already verified & successfully released for production at TSMC.
The 'Nanoscale Photomask Storage Cabinet' provides each photomask POD with purified intake air, constant humidity, temperature, and nitrogen flow, along with RFID personnel access management and POD load/unload selection to meet Class 1 cleanroom standards for nanoscale photomask storage.
The 'Nanoscale Photomask Storage Cabinet' comes with 5 essential features: Filtration, Monitoring & Control, Active Purge, Alarm, and Security, which make it a reliable storage solution, offering cost efficiency and saving up to 80% on nitrogen usage.
It is a remarkable achievement that Malaysia, holding a global market share of 13% in the semiconductor industry and being the 6th largest semiconductor exporting country, especially with Penang accounting for 5% of global semiconductor sales. Bossmen are ready to support customers in Malaysia with climate monitoring, humidity control, and energy-saving solutions through integrated Bossmen View Server IoT management.
Bossmen’s strategy is about more than just business growth; it’s about setting a standard for excellence and innovation in an increasingly competitive world. As we continue to advance our technologies and expand our reach, we remain dedicated to the principle that every step we take is a step towards a better, more technologically equipped semiconductor industry.
Thank you again for this opportunity to highlight the exciting developments at Bossmen and our vision for the future.
